Ugly wrist ganglion is back. Never really went anywhere in past 7 years but somehow strained it the other day. I've got it covered in ancient KT tape, not that I think it'll help (it might), but mainly so I don't have to look at it 🤢 #hypermobilitysyndrome

The ENT actually acknowledged that #hypermobilitysyndrome causes eustachian tube dysfunction! Only been saying that for ten years... 🙄

Is this cold killing any other chronic illness warriors? The lowest it got today was 25°. Every single joint in my body feels like it's going to shatter into a spray of blood, bone, and marrow. 😭 And I have SO much to do this weekend. #chronicillness #fibromyalgia #hypermobilitysyndrome

Almost pulled my hip out putting shoes on while upright. Either hitting "that age" or a gentle reminder of #hypermobilitysyndrome. Doesn't happen often since WFH but then shit like that pops up (or out....) 😖 #chronicWTF

Tried myofasciao release today, as part of my ongoing #chronicPain management and, friends, bliss. I don’t know if it’ll work long-term, but the short-term effects already has me signing up for next month. #hypermobilitySyndrome

I had a steroid shot in my left knee yesterday. Bone-on-bone situation in there. Two hours of sleep last night, not tired, but amped +weird! Got my angry lupus rash +intense headache since last night.

RECLAIM Initiative at the Sluss Lab: Researching Chronic Condition Linkages And Integrative Mechanisms
At the Sluss Lab at UMass Chan Medical School, the RECLAIM initiative is focused on exploring the underlying mechanisms of understudied chronic conditions. As part of RECLAIM, Dr. Sluss is investigating how oxidative stress influences chronic conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), ME/CFS, and other infection-associated chronic conditions and illnesses (IACCIs.)
Dr. Sluss, an expert in oxidative stress, also has lived experience with seeing the devastation and multi-morbid nature of these diseases, having a child with ME/CFS, hypermobile EDS, and orthostatic intolerance.

RECLAIM is recruiting participants — adults and children aged 12-17 — who self-report with ME/CFS, Long COVID, or other IACCIs. Adult study participants can expect three 30-minute in-person visits, and child participants will have two in-person visits with the option to join a follow-up study. Contact Dr. Sl

Panel 2: Kakashi entering the room with a book in his hand and he goes to say, "Little Moon, do you want to do any trai—"
Panel 3: Kakashi's eyes widen and he says "What the f—"
Panel 4: Kakashi exclaims, "How the HELL is that comfortable?!" while Tsukiya rolls slightly to the side to look at him. They say, "It just is. You should try it, Dad!"
Panel 5: Kakashi scratches the back of his head and says, "Uh, I'm not sure, Tsukiya. I kinda prefer my joints not dislocated."

Part 1 of a mini manga about Tsukiya's hypermobility. Poor Kakashi doesn't quite understand his child's joints are actually Not Normal.
