Google identified them as Laughing Kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguineae).
They're known for their iconic "laughing" call, which is a territorial sound used at dawn and dusk, earning them the nickname "bushman's alarm clock".

🌏 Blue-winged kookaburra (Dacelo leachii) The blue-winged kookaburra is a large, stocky kingfisher with a white head streaked brown, and lacking the prominent dark mask of it's larger relative, the laughing kookaburra. Its back is dull brown, wings are striking blue, and the underside is a creamy-white, finely barred with brown streaks. Found in northern Australia and southern New Guinea, it inhabits open savanna woodlands and swamps. Thought I would share another photo of these wonderful Aussie Kookaburras. They would often visit in groups in the late afternoon and sit on our clothesline. They never seemed to mind that I would get up close to take a photo.
