Colorful groupings of native perennials bounce the eye through this planting to the large arbor beyond. Bright yellow 'Golden Fleece' Dwarf Goldenrod in the foreground, purple 'Iron Butterfly' behind, framing a well done sign reading "Monarch Butterfly Waystation" with two artistic orange monarch butterflies framing the text; a sign that is meant to be there a while, lol, with two rather large supports making it a focal point in the garden.
I felt it was important to not skimp when it came to the signage of this #monarchwaystation #nativeplant garden. Good signage will be one of the keys moving forward, if I have any hopes of gaining more public support for these diverse perennial gardens.
