A Celery Leaftier Moth (Udea Rubigalis) image made from a photograph taken in the Butterfly Garden in Kill Devil Hills, NC (US). It is a species of Crambid Snout Moths and can make sounds by rubbing it's mandibles together called stridulation similar to crickets that use their legs. Their camouflage includes the 'dead twig' looking legs and generally earth looking tones of its wings all of which isn't working well against the stark green of the foliage but certainly helps the image.
