A blue tit building a nest in a nestbox
We had not seen blue tits in our nestbox since 18 March and feared they had abandoned it as they had done last year. So we were overjoyed to see Ms Bluetit back at it again today. We always have to remind ourselves they know what they are doing. #bluetit #nestbox @rspb.bsky.social

De pimpelmees is op het dak van het nestkastje gaan zitten. (The blue tit now sits on the roof of the nest box.)
De mees kijkt nu naar de fotograaf. Het kastje hangt voor het 2e jaar op deze plek, het 1e jaar geen belangstelling van de vogels. Hopelijk dit jaar meer succes. (The tit is now looking at the photographer. The box is hanging in this place for the 2nd year, the birds were not interested in the 1st year. Hopefully more success this year.)
