#Pevsner guidebook says the north aisle window is by Sep Waugh of York, 1980.
He also did the lamb & flag in the east window. 2000. Ann Southeran had done the east window chalice & dove. 1987.

The west front is of five stages, with flushwork panelling. The door has a frieze of shields at its base and above the pointed arch. There is a large four light window surmounted by two smaller windows. There are two bell openings. The top is surmounted by battlements & corner pinnacles.

A highly detailed mix of tiles and tiny mosaic tile-pieces in dark red, brown, blue and cream combine heraldry witg star and flower motifs between interwoven bands with the motto of the Shirley family. Impressive workmanship but almost too cluttered to be really attractive, design-wise.
Elaborate #tile and #mosaic floor at Ettington Park, Warwickshire, with the Shirley family motto “Loyal je suis”. Remodelled 1858-62, the Grade I Listed building, now a hotel, is described by #Pevsner as "the most important and impressive High #Victorian house in the county”. #TilesOnTuesday

#HistoricEngland listing refers to the east end “dossal and tester by Temple Moore”.
St Catherine with her wheel is dressed in white with a purple cloak & wears a crown. Behind her is St Agnes with a lamb, wearing a green cloak. They both have multi-coloured halos.
