I don't know if the procedures for creating the 3 taxing districts for the development have been completed. The CID, TDD & PID can each authorize a 1% sales tax.

The recent taxing districts approvals for the Jefferson Arms received no financial scrutiny from by the Board of Aldermen and SLDC.
The #HUDZ Committee (#BOAbb19) & #PortAuthoritySTL board (#JeffersonArmsPID) took the consultant's word for the math.

Currently Alterra doesn't have a registered lobbyist, which says something about its confidence in the rubber-stamping process. I don't think an approval margin of 1 vote was on Alterra's bingo card.

At the 7/10 Port meeting, Alterra’s consultant* conveniently didn’t have MWBE & wage data handy when asked.
At the 6/17 HUDZ hearing on the CID BB19, Hartzler* didn’t mention the #JeffArmsPID 😡
