lol I started ep one when my husband was next to me. He has only watched pieces of historical cdramas, but he too was cracking up at the three-way stab and still mentions it. I think the humor works beyond its setting and might actually be a good intro to the setting like #RomanceOfTigerAndRose
One of my favorite #Cdramas is #RomanceOfTigerAndRose because it's ridiculously silly, has some of my favorite actors, and because the costume team did an AMAZING job signaling what was happening with color coding. And it's 100% something you can adapt and use in your books.

True! LOVED #AshesofLove, #RomanceofTigerAndRose & #LoveAndRedemption. But really there were so many terrible ones, even with #ZhaoLusi. Now many more are excellent. But I'm glad they stopped the 60-90 episodes; couldn't believe the end of #TheRiseofPhoenixes after all those hours spent. 😭
