The journey of starting seedlings indoors is an anxiety-riddled one 😆

Last year, we overwatered (we think) but nearly all the seeds made it through.

This year we made the same mistake but weren't as lucky and will need to start some of our seeds again. So it goes!

All the rain lately has kept the seedlings happy and moist so much that you can see the condensation inside. 2 small containers each of 2 varieties.

Jugs open, you can see all the happy babies with their first few true leaves starting to show the little spiky bits next to a par of garden gloves and a spade.

Today’s #AlwaysBePlanting report: Some adorable baby #WinterSowing ‘Drama Queen’ & ‘Black Beauty’ poppy seedlings. Yes, they go out this small because the roots already almost reach the bottom of the 4 inches of soil and they don’t like being manhandled.
