Which episode are you on, if you don't mind my asking?

It is a great ensemble drama which plays mostly in the large family. It reminded me about #SwordAndBrocade or a shorter version of #StoryOfMinglan.
I love the main love story arc but it is so much more..
If you like these aspects you should definitely try it!

I’d been hoping for the same - lovely #SwordAndBrocade type stuff with a dash of #UnderThePower style cheeky charm from Tan Songyun’s character. I’m also a fan of Xheng Ye Cheng. So it was disappointing that #BrocadeOdyssey didn’t hit for me. I hope it works better for you.

I found all that stuff fascinating! #SwordAndBrocade definitely helped me better understand intra-household dynamics and rules that have enlightened my watching of many other C-dramas.

#SwordAndBrocade is a great drama. I thoroughly recommend if you like slow-burn and cultural understanding - depth and subtleties of roles within the household, that sort of thing. Now you’ve got me considering a rewatch.
