Making the Economic Case for Local Food Tamar Valley Producers & Suppliers Stakeholder Workshop

This might be a bit of a Hail Mary, but if you're a primary producer in the vicinity of the #TamarValley and supplying Callington and the surrounding parishes, I'd love to see you at a workshop next week so that we can work out how to boost local food sourcing. #Devon #Cornwall #LocalFood

Parish Vineyards Evandale Pinot Gris 2025 Part of the Hill-Smith Family Estate Vineyards and labels. Part of the 'Parish' range which sees fruit from southern and northern Tasmanian. This plot comes from Evandale, a tiny hamlet on the outskirts of Launceston in the north, and pretty much at the base of the regions around the town (Tamar and Pipers). 40% of the blend was fermented and matured in old French oak barrels for further complexity.

Forgot to feed my #sourdough starter for more than 2 weeks 😬

Feared it might be dead, bunged it some #ReclaimTheGrain #TamarValley #Landrace wheat flour 1/2 an hour ago, and it's bubbling away like a witch's cauldron.

Those poor microbes were HUNGRY! 🦠

And with a hell of a crack, massive flashes and a bang, the #weather change and storm front has hit the #TamarValley.
Coming in hot, prevailing from the NW, with strong winds, massive gusts, & TORRENTIAL rains - haven't seen since Aug 2024.

Sleep well, y'all.

Did you know? Our barrel-aged gin spent 3 months in a French oak barrel from a Tamar Valley winery, soaking up rich, complex flavors and a smooth finish from the Chardonnay once aged in it. 🍷✨ #BarrelAgedGin #BrightNightGin #TamarValley
