I love that #RyanCheng got to act a whole range of emotions & modes in this show. His character in #TheLegendOfTheFemaleGeneral was great, but very flat & 1D compared to #Jinan aka #PrinceAnnan in #ShadowLove. Be acted cute, he whined, he begged, he cried—PLUS all the protective warrior aggression

Well I was thrilled when I saw one of my two favourite Chinese actors #LiuYuning rise to well-deserved stardom after playing 2nd ML roles (first noticed in #TheLongBallad with the incomparable #ZhaoLusi) & now t'other #RyanCheng is coming into his own with #TheLegendoftheFemaleGeneral.

Apparently one of the actors was involved in some kind of scandal and cut out of the show, but I have no idea which one. They must've done a good job with the editing cause I can't notice anything wrong or off #TheLegendOfTheFemaleGeneral
