A black crow sits in a bare plane tree, looking out at the park around it.
A group of gadwalls sits at the confluence of the Wandle and the Thames at low tide. There are so many of them now, when just a couple of years ago there were none.
The sun was out, so I wandered down the Wandle for a quick look at the loal birds this morning. Oddly the delta was empty; I suspect the amount of water coming down the weir had scoured it clear.
