The Unsolved Murder of Lin Tao Case reference: Homicide #4/2002Location: Toronto, OntarioYear of birth: 1983Lin's Date of death: February 11, 2002 Lin was a 19-year old York University student from China. She was found outside her apartment building at 1 Fourwinds Drive, near Keele Street and Finch Avenue West in Toronto on Sunday February 10, 2002, at approximately 8:06 pm. Lin was found suffering from severe stab wounds, primarily to her neck. She was rushed to a hospital but died shortly after arrival. Law enforcement believes that Lin likely knew her attacker, though the exact nature of their relationship is unknown.
