This Roman relief sculpture of Mithras slaying the bull (the Tauroctony), which was a central cult image of the Mithraic Mysteries was found in 1747 in Micklegate, York, approximately 10 feet underground. . The original Roman limestone relief is now held in the Yorkshire Museum.

A 3D reconstruction of a structure uncovered from beneath the sands at Whitesands Bay, Pembrokeshire. The video that the still was taken from was created for Pembrokeshire County Council and working closely with The Dyfed Archaeological Trust (as it was at the time). I created the 3D model and animation, a colleague (Nev Howell) did the landscape texturing and final rendering.
