Yesterday started well with a toasted #hotcrossbun with bacon and maple syrup. The most wonderful trip to @arundelcastleuk to see the #tulipfestival and wander around the town. Then a jaunt to the coast for some sea air. #campervanadventures #westsussex
So we aren’t in #Slovenia but in #Westsussex this week @riverside_farm_sussex. A perfect spot by the #riverarun and lots to #forage to make a salad to go with the steak on the bbq last night. #campervanadventures.

Holiday goodies Love coming home from a trip & discovering all the foodie bits bought on our travels. Then found a bottle of #oliveoil lurking at the back of the #campervan. I had the #brawn for #lunch from @bindienzopienza. This excludes all the #alcohol #campervanadventures
Now driving on our way to #Calais. Fabulous day yesterday inc the market in #Beaune 1st thing where we picked up breakfast, lunch & dinner. Great pit stop at the beautiful town of #Noyers which had a street #antiquemarket on. I bought a retro recipe tea towel #campervanadventures
Today we started #cycling the #VoiedesVignes the heart of the #CotedeBeaume. Unfortunately the heavens opened but we had reached #Meursault so had a superb 3 course #lunch at #Hôtelducentre
A few glasses of delicious red meant the cycle ride home was easy. #campervanadventures
We are now in #Beaune. A lovely town right in the heart of the #Burgundy #wine region A visit to the #HôtelDieuMuseum - #hospicesdebeaune was a must. What a #hospital with amazing architecture & stunning roof. Love the idea of healing with wines #campervanadventures #france
Having stayed up in the mountains in N #Tuscany we had a beautiful drive across the #Garfagnana region. Lots of hairpin bends! Drove through #Piedmont to the #alps & through the #montblanc tunnel. #chamonix was busy but the 3rd campsite had spaces with a view of Mont Blanc #campervanadventures
I think #montalcino is a lovely ‘real’ town as it still has a lot of inhabitants Its wines are superb esp #Brunello. So having taken a wrong turn on the we ended up at @poggioanticowinery for a tasting #paella for dinner & a stunning sky @camping_lucherino #campervanadventures

A wet & stormy Sunday meant empty beaches along #PlayadelCan so we watched the #wimbledonmensfinal. A bright & hot cycle yesterday across the @parcomaremma to the idyllic #SpiaggiadiCollelungo Overnight @agriturismo_fusini with its lovely staff & food. #campervanadventures
We love a #cinghiale & so far we have eaten them with #pasta & in #salami, woken up in a field next to them & spotted a wild one whilst cycling in the woods with its #cinghialetto. A visit to #volterra & #bolgheri for a wonderful lunch @tognonibolgheri #campervanadventures
We have arrived in #tuscany #chianti We are staying at the beautiful @locanda_casanuova with its own organic #vineyards & #olivetrees & just tasted their x3 wines. Had to take a stroll around their #veggarden & looking forward to tasting some of it at dinner #campervanadventures #Italy

Lovely sunny walk from our #campsite at #holmsley in the @newforestnpa. Just over 6 miles so not bad 5 weeks post op, with a stop the #oldholmsleystation for a #coffee & magnificent #cakes. A #gorse #forage to make #tea, #pickledbuds & #flowers for the salad #campervanadventures
