A blade of grass with the cocoon of a Cinnabar Moth in white. The top is open and it looks like the moth had emerged from it leaving some black casing behind. Above this is an adult Cinnabar Moth with bright red and black wings drying in the morning sun. It has a plump black body. Never seen this before. So pleased that I photographed it. It’s only then I noticed the cocoon!
