High resolution astrophotography image of Messier 13, also known as the Great Hercules Cluster, a bright globular cluster located in the constellation Hercules. The image shows hundreds of thousands of densely packed stars forming a roughly spherical shape, with a bright, concentrated core fading into a halo of individual stars. Captured in Nottinghamshire, UK under Bortle 6 skies using a Seestar S50 smart telescope. The dataset consists of 1,110 ten-second exposures, stacked and processed using Siril, GraXpert, and PixInsight. The final result reveals the intricate structure of the cluster, with a subtle range of star colours from cool red tones to hotter blue white stars, set against the blackness of space.

It is M3 globular cluster again but this is my best image of it so far. For those who don't know, these are exactly what they look like -- a bunch of stars hanging out with each other in close proximity. This image is 45 min. integration so far. #astrophotography #GlobularCluster

Hubble Space Telescope image of the globular cluster M80 (NGC 6093), showcasing a dense concentration of stars. Many are older and redder than our sun, but the presence of numerous blue stragglers—younger stars formed from stellar collisions—indicates a high collision rate at the cluster's core.

An astrophotography image with many stars throughout. The main feature being a star forming region closest to Earth, Rho Ophiuchi.
It looks something like a pentagonal pendant hung by one blue star at it's top. That star, and the other three below it that form the top of the pentagon are bright blue, and show wispy gas that is energized and glowing from the radiation from those stars. The two base stars appear more red to yellow in color. The brightest is the red supergiant star Antares, which is also a binary system, part of the constellation Scorpio. The other to it's right is something bright also, but not a star. It's a globular cluster of about 100,000 individual stars, about 6,000 light years away. Making it one of the closest to Earth.
Another notable feature is dark gas and dust that runs from the far left center, into the area of the pentagon, blocking background starlight.

A stunning image of the colorful and dusty sky near Antares and Rho Ophiuchi. Blue reflection nebulae are illuminated by starlight, while reddish emission nebulae are produced by ultraviolet starlight exciting gaseous clouds. Dark clouds block starlight. Antares, a red supergiant, lights up the yellow-red clouds. The Rho Ophiuchi star system is at the center of the blue reflection nebula. The globular cluster M4 is visible above and to the right of Antares. The image shows a vibrant mix of colors and textures, revealing the complexity of this star-forming region.
