Five Battlefront 1:100 Panthers/Jagdpanthers with a common lower hull. They are painted in white wash over tri-color camo.

8cm mortars and white washed (just gunshield and barrel) PaK40. The PaK50 are just plain dunkelgelb. All Battlefront models

Focus on the unusual PaK50 infantry guns. A combination of a sawn off PaK40 barrel and breech with the trail and gumshield of a 5cm PaK38. An oversized muzzle break got the recoil down to something the light carriage could survive.

The crew. A mix of figures, all Battlefront, in either great coats or reversible camo suits.

PaK40. Being an ambush anti-tank gun I figured if anything got whitewashed it would be these. Never done WhiteWash so tried a technique of thinned painted over a paler than normal Dunkelgelb. Also just painted the front facing surfaces as it seemed likely the crews would focus on this

Been awhile since we've done a ##WIPWEDNESDAY so, seeming as it just turned midnight here's some shots of the PaK40, PaK50 infantry guns, 8cm mortars and crew for the 36th VolksGr project.
Guns are mostly done and so focus is on the crew.

It's almost certainly a mistake to have started building my Empire army with the captains rather than the 60 infantry in the Battalion box and use these chaps as a motivation reward, but at least the building phase has begun.
