Found a bunch of puffballs and honey mushrooms this weekend. I love the treasure hunt of finding wild food.

A round but also slightly misshapen brown mushroom with small spikes all over it emerges from mossy ground. It's almost brain-like with its folds and dimples all over.

#puffballmushroom from my brotherโs yard. Cut in 1/4โ slices, dip in flour, then egg, then mix of #Panko crumbs, salt/pepper, and #SlapYoMama to add some kick. Fried in oil till crispy. Topped with a sweet chile sauce and #wildarugula out of the garden.

These are giant puffball mushrooms. They are absolutely delicious when fried up with a bit of butter. They just appear and you bred to get them before they go to spore. Such a treat! #giantpuffball #puffballmushroom #mushrooms
