A Spitfire model primed in light grey, on an airbrush turntable.
This Ventura Spitfire is making me work hard to get an acceptable result! Much filling and sanding. Not done yet. It's going to be in an all-white French aerobatic scheme.

Fuchida's a/c was fresh during Hawaii operation but here is what it looked like in early 42, photography during Indian Ocean ops.

Now though it's the Kate of Cmndr Fuchida!
Here is the data from AIRfile.
The aircraft shown is my target. It was a 'new' a/c delivered in bare aluminum.
Topside green was brush painted at sea.
Each carriers B5Ns had differing interpretations to this end.

For the Fujimi Val it's time to complete the restoration!
The airframe, paint & markings are good but maybe a vacuform canopy & new tail gun.
It dive brakes are gone also...

Here's an Ancient build.
This is the old Fujimi 1/48 Aichi D3A Val. A kit ahead of its time!
1st built 1983.
It suffered losing bits, decals peeling☹️
Restored 2003.
This was my IJN grey brown then.
Brush pnted canopy, markings are IJN Soryu matching my A6M.

With a hand applied Zimmerit on the tank, airbrushed and weathered with a mix of acrylics and oil paints. The scene is meant to be in Falaise Normandy, France 1944. The diorama is titled Alarm

Wheels all sorted and the base weather work done before top coat goes on. Just the chipping fluid to dry and a bottle of top paint to sort before camouflage pattern then goes on. #histscalemodels #scalemodels

It depicts the A6M of Lt. Fusata Lida, IJN Soryu, second attack wave, December 7th 1941.
It crashed on Kaneohe killing Lt Lida.

An unfinished 1/4 scale car model with added wiring and lighting components installed on the inside of the body shell.
First go at the light circuit installation in the Tamiya 1/24 Honda Fit/Jazz.
It's complicated that the lights are mounted on the body shell, but the void for the main wiring loom is the engine bay on the chassis, so hoping it all fits together! #scalemodels #tamiya #honda
