The station was part of the Caledonian Railway line between Partick and Dunbarton. It opened as Scotstoun Station in 1896, and changed its name to Scotstoun West in 1900. It closed in 1964 as part of the cuts instigated by Richard Beeching.

What I think is the entrance to the former Scotstoun West Railway Station on Burnham Road in Glasgow. Scotstoun West was an island station, with its platform on the viaduct above the entrance.

40 Kingsway Court in the Scotstoun area of Glasgow. It's one of six tower blocks built in the 1960s as part of the Kingsway Court Estate.

Love the font on this incised sign for the girls entrance to the former Victoria Drive Secondary school in the Scotsoun area of Glasgow. Designed by Kerr and Watson, it opened in 1909.

The remnants of Scotstoun East Railway Station in the West of Glasgow. Originally Victoria Park Station when it opened in 1896, it became Scotstoun Station in 1900 and then Scotstoun East Station 1952 before finaly closing in 1964.
