One of my scientific heroes was a #taxonomist & I know he used to ask all prospective students “What’s the largest #jigsaw you’ve ever completed?” Very astute question- the patience, painstaking attention to detail, & satisfaction of seeing order emerge from chaos is a great proxy for #research 😊
