Oh the irony. When I worked for the Justice Department for 25 years, it was not unusual at all for DOJ's agencies to use paid informants to infiltrate extremist groups and criminals. I have no doubt it's still happening. It's a perfectly normal investigative tool.

This indictment really is absurd. Trump’s DOJ and FBI are accusing the SPLC of sponsoring far-right extremism instead of combating it. Even though the FBI worked with SPLC to combat extremism until last year.
