Jasmin Simpson presented research at #SfEBES2026 on how combined maternal and paternal #lowProtein diets affect early embryo development. Mouse embryos from two low-protein parents showed 20% lower #blastocyst survival and altered morphology, linked to disrupted 1C-metabolism.

Antonysunil Adaikalakoteswari presented at #SFEBES2026 on how maternal vitamin #B12 deficiency affects #placental development. Using #multiomics data from the #PRiDE cohort, the study found changes in #DNAmethylation, gene expression and #miRNAs linked to low B12.
