Overall, we show that #placental #epigenetics may further our understanding of the association between #IVF and negative pregnancy outcomes, and that sex-specific differences in #DNAmethylation and cell composition should be considered when analyzing placental data.
We estimated #placental cell composition for each sample using cell type specific #DNAmethylation patterns, and found that there were differences between fetal sex and between conception type in main placental cell type proportions.
