A brilliant green bee with dark green compound eyes (eye shape reminds me of an inverted teardrop. Her thorax is covered with short off-white hairs. dots of dark grey in her eyes. She has light brown wings, black antennae and a large amount of ivory-colored pollen collected on her hind legs. Her brown tongue is visible, extending into the flower base from between her mandibles: she is drinking/collecting nectar.

Perched on the edge of a cluster of small white yarrow flowers, an emerald green bee is drinking nectar. She has an enormous load of bright orange pollen packed onto her back legs and abdomen, looking like it’s moments away from falling off in chunks.
