#birds - Does this count for #birdsontheground? A month ago we started early & found most of the Canada geese and swans of Lac Supérieur (West of Paris) standing in a line on the North-West shore. Usually they lie on the grass at various places round the perimeter. Samsung Galaxy A56, cropped.

We visited the Botanical Garden in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Saw this critter foraging on the opposite bank of a stream. It hopped across the stream and continued foraging right in front of me, completely oblivious to my presence. Even the animals are friendly in Brasil!

Not the best photo but my #BirdOfTheDay #BirdsOnTheGround is of a Great Horned Owl digesting a heavy meal of skunk (we found the head later) in the rain. I was woken up by the in-laws to go check out the owl in their yard. So I ran outside in PJs before it could take off.
