4 needle-felted raptors in flight (Goshawk, Broad-winged Hawk, Red-shouldered Hawk, and Osprey) and 1 pair of American Kestrels at a nest box. They're all hanging on my studio closet doors.
I'm currently tidying up and packing my Hawk Mountain brigade... And I'm getting kinda sad about it! Dropping off Saturday, the show opens end of this month. I'm gonna miss these guys actually 😭♥️

"Bulk of a Buteo plus their characteristic long wings and short tail, unlike Accipiter/Astur hawks. The tail’s pale spaces being wider than the dark tail bands fit juvenile Broad-winged, so do the plainer secondaries - lacking multiple high contrast bands like Red-shouldered.
