A plant with small pinkish purple flowers in amongst long grass.
Seen from above, a round flower head made of lots of smaller heads, umbellifer-style. The flowerlets are sill in bud, and are tinged a slightly murky pink.
Some sort of vetch in a local meadow, and a wild carrot on its way in our own garden. #carrotsandpeas #WildflowerHour
A plant whose leaf stems bear dozens of little leaflets in rows, shorter towards the tip. The tips of the stems end in tendrils which haven't found anything to cling onto. There is a single purple flower, shaped like a smaller version of a sweet pea.

A couple of small yellow peas for #WildflowerHour. First is a Spotted Medick seen on a local walk, a second is a Lesser Trefoil seen even closer to home on the drive. #carrotsandpeas

In #BradfieldWoods today two of my favourite 'carrots', Pignut (Conopodium majus) & Sanicle (Sanicula europea). No peas, but Wild Strawberry (Fragaria vesca) & Wood Dog Violet (Viola reichenbachiana).
