I had read horror stories so was taking it slow. When I decided to stop the last 30 mg, I chose to take it every other day as a step down method. I did not notice any negative impacts. I did that for a few weeks so maybe that helped. Anyways, I found getting off #Cymbalta to be easy peasy.

I completely weaned off #Cymbalta with no noticeable symptoms. I was on 60 mg/day for about 5 years, then went down to 30 mg sometime last summer. Yesterday I realized I hadn't put it in my pill container so was off it almost a week before I even knew it. Thank God bc some people really suffer.

I would rather that big pharma companies like @elilillyandcompany.bsky.social
wouldn't stop manufacturing drugs that people's well being depended on.

I decreased my #Cymbalta dosage from 60mg to 30mg last Friday. Advised Hubby to watch for emotional changes, but all I've experienced so far is physical symptoms (intermittent headaches and upset tummy). I'll stay on that dosage for a month or two, then try to get off completely. Wish me luck!

#cymbalta makes me super constipated but ive found a remedy, here's my recipe for "poop water":

add to a glas of water:
1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon psyllium husks

soak overnight, drink in the morning
