Finished this piece earlier this year from a Taylor & Cromwell kit.

The fabric included in a kit is just perfect for the design and there’s no reason to change it.

I also tried finishing the back with felt for the first time to help protect the stitches from snagging.

I finished my socks!!!!! After 5 or 6 false starts I finally got there. These are adapted from Summer Lee’s Lavendar Sock pattern. Still need blocking by but super comfy merino silk blend.

The mittens were originally knit in white as the base colour and a vibrant purple-magenta as the contrast. But the purple yarn ran a lot when washing, causing the white yarn to be tinted pink.

My West Of The Moon mittens after drying. The excess dye tinted them a nice even pink, so it all worked out in the end. But I'm still unhappy; now I know my Kvello mittens will run like this too if washed. 🧶

A dark blue hat with a slightly floral/tree like cable motif repeated throughout once past the brim. At the apex of each cabled repeat is a clear, iridescent bead. The hat has a pleasant, fibery halo from the mohair.

Also, here is said finished object: the Sparkling Cider Hat, knit up in Knitting for Olive merino, and mohair in navy blue with some beads dug up from my stash. The recipient was very pleased! 💛 🧶

Finished tapestry of pansies and leaves, with a frog climbing on one and shooting a laser out of its eye to incinerate another. A small patch on the side reads ‘fuck that flower in particular’ and is for the back of the cushion.

The same canvas as in the preceding photo is made into a small square cushion.

Done. I got a bit sick of that stitch by the end! I made it into a cushion very carefully and then did the most half arsed messy fix of pyjama trousers in world history. I guess that was the end of my spoons there…
