Ich glaube, die Federn von Freitag im Turmnistkasten sind geklärt.
Es waren gerade 2 Tauben zu Besuch und waren knapp ne Stunde da ehe Herr #Turmfalke kam.

Met ~4Bft denken wij al gauw aan balanceren, maar meneer #Torenvalk ( #FalcoTinnunculus, Common #Kestrel) zit ondanks de wind rustig op het bovenste takje van een schommelende boomstruik!

4 needle-felted raptors in flight (Goshawk, Broad-winged Hawk, Red-shouldered Hawk, and Osprey) and 1 pair of American Kestrels at a nest box. They're all hanging on my studio closet doors.
I'm currently tidying up and packing my Hawk Mountain brigade... And I'm getting kinda sad about it! Dropping off Saturday, the show opens end of this month. I'm gonna miss these guys actually 😭♥️

A preening male Kestrel on a palm tree. Its slate blue crowned head is turned, his eye is closed, and his beak is buried in the top of his ruffled slate blue wing feathers. The underside of his wing is white with black stripes. His face is white and rufous with vertical black stripes, and the feathers on the back of his neck are ruffled. His chest is rufous and the underside of his tail is white, both have black spots. His left yellow leg is raised and his yellow toes and talons are curled.
