It'd be a five star read but the finale makes sense but feels too short? Not satisfying? Just a little flat - though the journey to get there was worth every step of beautiful, thoughtful prose.

I liked the first two more but I did enjoy seeing Ged grow old, more island hopping adventures & how the book tackles it's life and death themes.
Le Guin's prose is the highlight as usual, I just enjoy her writing style so much.

Gerade gelesen, dass Ursula #LeGuin s Roman "Die linke Hand der Dunkelheit" in #Russland aus einigen Buchläden konfisziert wurde. Dort geht es schließlich um Hermaphroditen. Die"traditionellen Werte" Russlands akzeptieren so etwas nicht.
Eigentlich bin ich nicht überrascht.
