A short mushroom with a white and ever-so-slightly purple stipe and a gorgeous wood-like brown cap slides out of wet fir-needle-covered ground. A noticeably thick layer of slime covers the entire mushroom.
This beautiful ball of slime is either Cortinarius seidliae or vanduzerensis. Their slightly purple stipes and brown caps are 🤌🏻🤌🏻
