A zoomed in photo of the bear, taken from just around the corner of the Railway Education Center at ground level. He is alert and watching the person with the camera, but has made no move to stand up. The photographer is a good distance away and had a door at the ready to close in case the bear did stand up.

The bears have startled Museum staff too. Check out this fat bear week contender from 2018!
