I’m seconding #UnchainedLove. He is phenomenal and it’s such an unconventional villain role
The actor is Peter Ho btw, who has been in some really good dramas - I remember him from #FightingYouth & #NothingGoldCanStay - but he’s also had lots of more recent support roles such as in #EverlastingLonging
He can play evil characters very well too - he’s the evil king in #UnchainedLove
I didn’t like Dylan’s chemistry with Bai Lu in #OnlyForLove, but it is still watchable. His roles post #Fairy&Devil have been mixed, but I know people who really liked him in #UnchainedLove (historical drama) and #NeverGiveUp (an office sitcom). I haven’t seen his drama #YouthintheFlamesofWar.
Haha! If only I had a shortlist 😆. I will put it on my long-list, along with #UnchainedLove (which I have restarted), #OhNo!HereComesTrouble (which I haven’t yet begun), and #JealousyIncarnate (which I have almost finished).
Did you watch #UnchainedLove with #WangHeDi? I’m curious your thoughts on the ending because I absolutely loved it. It was a mostly overlooked drama but it had a meaningful story to tell and it stuck to it to the end. A+
…The MLs brother’s heel turn has been the most interesting part of the drama for about 10 episodes now, and yet it’s still not really going anywhere or meaning much of anything
But now I think I want to rewatch #UnchainedLove. Iirc it lays out a great “path to villainy”, which Blossom is lacking
Vcs gostam mais das perucas dos personagens de #Cdrama com franjinha ou sem? Eu geralmente prefiro com, acho que dá um charme. O penteado do #DylanWang pra #GuardiansoftheDafeng tá fabuloso. Em #UnchainedLove estava ok, mas estava perfeito em #LoveBetweenFairyandDevil msm sem a franja.

Vi esse porque mãe amou, deu nota 10, mas decepcionei. A mocinha carrega a novela nas costas, mas as roupas são feias e o final é bem absurdo. O imperador doido e feio parece o verdadeiro principal da história. Mas vale pelo romance e boas atuações.
