A Wood Sandpiper standing in shallow water. It has a slender body, brown upperparts with white spots, a pale belly, and a straight medium-length bill. Its reflection is visible on the calm surface. 浅瀬に立つタカブシギ。細身の体に、上面は白い斑点のある褐色、下面は淡色で、中くらいの長さのまっすぐな嘴を持つ。静かな水面にはその姿が映っている。
