Stigmella naturnella was discovered only recently in the low countries (nl.pensoft.net/article/99360/) but in my region (Ghent, Belgium) it already seems to be the most common birch #leafminer. It probably spread naturally from S Central Europe. Here's how the mines look.

Which Tomato Plant is Compatible with Which Natural Antagonist of the Tomato Leafminer? - Agrarforschung Schweiz Agroscope researchers tested three natural antagonists of the tomato leafminer on six tomato genotypes. Of the three genotypes displaying a degree of resistance, two were found to be compatible with the natural enemies of the pest.

#SwissAgriculturalResearch - The combination of host-plant resistance with #BiologicalControl methods represents a promising strategy for the sustainable management of the #tomato #leafminer.
