Rather tired after my #LongRunSunday 13k (8 miles) around Dalton and back to Barrow.
Managed my second best time in the 10k, which was nice to see once I’d got home.

One of my club pals is taking me out around Dalton on Sunday to show me the 10k race route. Very kind of her and gives me chance to try the route and train.

The weather this week has been terrible, but I managed to get my Long Run in today with a nice rainstorm hitting me in the final kilometre.
Kept to a nice pace though, and didn’t get too wet!

Shortish run today in my Runna plan for #LongRunSunday
6km around Barrow at easy pace and it gave me chance to wear my new PEBAX plated shoes again. Slowly getting used to the feel of them and next week the distance starts to increase.

Amazingly I managed to keep to the pace targets this morning despite it raining for most of the 7km.

Starting to feel a bit under the weather but still managed to get out for 12k long run because marathons don’t run themselves. Exciting day tomorrow so time to relax, focus and get in the zone!

Supposed to be #LongRunSunday, but only 5.37 mi today along the #LosGatosCreek Trail. 🏃🏃♀️🏃♂️ Still dealing with a burning soreness in bottom of left foot that starts at 3 miles. But able to make it back OK, so grateful. Perfect weather at 75 F so was able to run shirtless 😉😃🤙
