Pleurotus australis from above, here a mostly grey coloured mushroom that is growing in the shape of a flat plate from a tree. The edges of the mushroom are lighter in colour and rippled, from whence pleurotus complex gets the name ‘oyster mushroom’ the top of the stem looks to have been eaten a little bit by bugs.
