Photograph of a small squirrel, possibly an eastern gray squirrel, which would make this an invasive species. Actually, that would make this a doubly invasive species, since it is not native to the Pacific Northwest and is attempting to invade the feeder that I put out for my crows. Is it cute? Sure, in a fluffy rodent sort of way, but I much prefer my crows.
I’d call this “backyard wildlife”, except I don’t have a backyard. This is more like parking lot wildlife.

We think it's a juvenile, we've been feeding it + a parent for a while
I threw it a walnut piece, it grabbed it, flew 40 feet to this sunny spot, and then spread its wings and just stayed there on the ground, wing spread, for about 90 seconds
