A golden crowned sparrow behind a tuft of new green grass. The birds throat and cheeks are a light gray and they fade into a brown gray on its chest and belly. Its wings are mottled with dark chocolate, light brown and white. Its tail is dark gray. Above its white beak is its golden crown perched between two dark blue black stripes that go along the sides of the bird’s crown. It’s eyes are dark brown.
Between rains and greening
a golden crown touches down
then is gone again
