This is a black and white photograph shot from above looking down on a decaying tree stump. The stump is ringed by rows top to bottom of Turkey Tail Mushrooms. They have a beautiful fan shaped and alternate ridge marks between white and black/grey shades in the image. The top of the stump has various smaller things growing on it including lichen and moss. Some thin white hairs left by shedding Huskies are also visible.
