Mr Long Legs trying to act like a statue thinking i can't see him, he thought wrong so away i snap his photo. That was until he realised i could see him, at which point off he went away from my gaze.
Another of the Grey Herons taking flight with his catch of the day which looked like a small Roach (not that i know my fish). I did leave a note for him for when he returns letting him know the fish have to be of a certain size for sustainable fishing.......
Here's the dumbest of Grey Herons picking the smallest branch to play 'Hide & Seek' behind, he quickly realised his mistake when i shouted 'Your It'. But i don't think he had a clue as to what i was on about and just flew away shaking it's head in disgust!
This Grey Heron was looking for a babysitter so he could go out for the night. But i had to explain that with children/nestlings come responsibility and your clubbing days are over (well for 7-9 weeks)
Don't Herons have it easy....... we have that for a lifetime :-)
It's time for #WaderWednesday which comes from Stanley Park, Blackpool at the weekend. This set is of some of the Grey Herons that reside at parks Heronry on the small island.
