Poem text of "Daffodil" on a flora photograph of a daffodil on a black background. Daffodil I often daydreamed as a child if I had drifted away, just wandered off in a daze, lost and lonely, could I come back changed, just as Narcissus, a beautiful Daffodil, or a floating and majestic cloud?
Taking inspiration from William Wordsworth and mythology, I wrote a golden shovel poem called "Daffodil." And I named the photo of the daffodil "Lonely As a Cloud."
