I'll bet this former hall for the working-class community of Sutton has a few stories to tell... A former community hall, built around the turn of the 20th Century, in the Sutton Harbour area of Plymouth. The top floor windows are edged with Marland brick, the window bottom left similarly, yet has been turned into a door. The original door is quite ornate & capped with a keystone arch.

A three light window, with each light separated by oak mullions. Each light is separated into 9 panes - three rows of two clear rectangular panes, with the top row being two clear lanes separated by a deep maroon teardrop shaped pane. The windows are by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, so each light is really tall and thin (maybe a 5:1 ratio), with each rectangular pane being the same shape. The window is lit from behind and the oak panelling of the room is almost black. Because, you know, art and all that...
