It reads: "She watched him intently as he prepared the coffee, pouring it into what looked like a Xero-sized teacup – or, an almost Ev-sized mug. She felt her jaw drop loose when she realized that he was going to serve it to her. She hadn’t even asked. He wasn’t even going to drink any. He had made it just for her. She felt the tears coming again. He returned to her side and sat on the floor next to her once more, slightly closer than before, but not too close, as he leaned over her and set the coffee on the table next to her. “It’s hot.” His voice had an edge to it, but his demeanor remained tranquil. “Thank you,” she sniffed. “That’s…really nice.” “At your service,” he answered smoothly."
