Our fantastic KS2 musicians put on an amazing Spring Concert to a fully packed audience. They played a variety of instruments including trumpets, recorders, glockenspiels, djembe and some outstanding drum solos. We were also treated to two amazing choir performances.

This week in the Forest Garden, Nursery went hunting for mini beasts ๐ชฑ๐ท๏ธ๐ They found loads of worms, ladybirds and spiders living in our garden!

Nursery continued learning about butterflies this week by looking at The Very Hungry Caterpillar and the lifecycle of a butterfly! They learned that a caterpillar hatches from an egg, then builds a cocoon and grows into a butterfly ๐๐ฆ #UnderstandingtheWorld

In geography, Year 6/5 analysed different maps looking at human and physical features.

Year 3 have been learning to compare volume and capacity. We looked at a range of different containers of water and made predictions about their capacity and volume by ordering them from smallest to greatest. We then tested our predictions by taking exact measurements. #MathsatWelbeck
