Year 4/3 worked hard to place historical events chronologically on a time line. We started in the prehistoric time period and went right the way to present day. We were able to understand when World War 1 began and which events happened before and after the war. #HistoryatWelbeck
Year 3 used atlases and globes 🌍 to locate countries involved in World War 1 🪖 including the Central Powers, Allies and British Empire during the 1900s. We also learned how each country contributed to the war effort.

They found out about Sir Robert Juckes Clifton’s contribution to the area, how railways changed the landscape and Queen Victoria’s legacy.
